overclocking ram ddr3 question by : Overclocking Cpu and ram w.r.t temp?
i have an asus motherboard m4a88td-v Evo usb3,AMD Phenom two x6 1090T and OCZ3g1333LV2g(two*two) ddr3 1333MHz and Cooler Master HAF 932 chassis and Nvidia gtX 470
what i carried out is i start off the Asus OC Tuner Utility from bios which immediately overclocks evrything
now what transpires is that my processor has a clock of 3712 MHz instead of three.2GHZ
and Ram is running at 932Mhz at six-six-6-18 Latency instead of 1333Mhz at 9-9-9-twenty
rest voltages and everything is set auto..
but this point has enhanced my all round overall performance and their benchmark scores of cpu and ram
but temperature has also rosen up
earlier cpu use to run at 30′C idle and 40′C at gaming
now it runs at 35-36′C idle and 44-45′C at gaming w/ stock cooler and CM HAF 932
is this temperature ok for this cpu
and what about ram speed and latency are they greater now or not or must i run it as before
so plz inform me if i make changes as just before or run it as it is ..

AMD A8-3870K
overclocking ram ddr3
There's 128KB of L1 cache and 1MB of L2 cache available per core, and the APU supports dual-channel DDR3 memory at speeds of up to 1866MHz. The A8-3870K of course also requires a motherboard that utilizes the (fairly) new FM1 socket, based on either …

Beautiful Ram,
This ram is beautiful. No problems whatsoever. On time shipping with amazon so no complaints. I overclocked this ram to 1600 cause my motherboard had it as 1333 and it has been stable ever since.
Going to get a next pair of these soon. They are absolutely perfect!!!!

|You must set your BIOS to use the XMP Profile 1 to get 1600Mhz,
This ram is a great deal when you compare the price to other 1600Mhz brand offerings. I got this kit because it was listed as a certified 1600Mhz module for the Gigabyte GA-Z68MA-D2H-B3 motherboard.
However, I must note that this memory does not run at 1600Mhz by default. The default SPD timings for this memory put it at 1333Mhz. In order to get the memory to work at at 1600Mhz you need to go into your BIOS settings and look for the XMP (Extreme Memory Profile) settings. This RAM is XMP compliant but the packaging doesn’t really mention this. XPG (Extreme Performance Gear) is just a marketing acronym from ADATA. These RAM chips send the BIOS XMP Profile 1 settings via SPD (Serial Presence Detect). When you find the XMP settings in your BIOS it will list Profile 1 (Enthusiast) and/or Profile 2 (Extreme) settings depending on the RAM chips in the board. These ADATA chips only send Profile 1 settings. When you set your BIOS to use the XMP Profile 1 settings the ADATA RAM tells your BIOS the correct memory timings for 1600Mhz without you having to adjust the timings manually. I would not call this overclocking. If you get the RAM to 1866Mhz then you are overclocking
Note: Some BIOS’ will allow you to see the changes instantly but you must realize that certain motherboard and other utilities may still say the RAM is at 1333Mhz because those utilities are note seeing the XMP profile settings.

|Runs great in new build,
I bought this memory for a new system build that includes an Intel i5 2500K CPU,
ASUS P8P67 Pro Motherboard and a EVGA GeFore 460 SE Graphic card. I have not had one issue with the memory. It runs very solid on my overclocked system. This is the first time I purchased ADATA memory and I picked it only because it was listed on the approved list for my ASUS motherboard and the price on Amazon was very good. I’m glad I purchased it and will purchase ADATA memory the next time I need memory.
