Okay so I have kingston 4x2GB Dual chanel 1333mhz ram that is clocked to 1430mhz.
Hears my query so fundamentally my RAM timings are 9-9-9-24, what should I drop them to? And I leave the voltage at one.5V proper? or does it need to go up if the latency drops?

If your RAm is rated to run at one.5v, I would leave it. one.5v ought to be lots of voltage to even get to 1600MHz.
Dropping the timings will certainly aid, but overclocking the RAM some much more will as well.
Hmm…for your speed, see if seven-8-7-21-1T functions for you. If not, attempt looser timings…eight-eight-8-21-1T.
1T is somewhat faster than 2T, but it is not very stable for some RAM.
Just slowly one-by-one particular modify the timings and run Prime95 to see if it’s stable. If it doesn’t stop/crash, tighten the timings some much more, or cease (pleased with timings). If not, bring the timings up a minor bit, and test once again.

@bneyens Well i’ve got a hyper x blu 1600 mhz ram but the speed it displays is 1333mhz and the utilized speed is 667mhz
so am i supposed to overclock it??
does it even matters if i turn it to 1600 mhz from 1333??

I’ve got Mushkin value RAM 2x4GB running at 1600MHz with no cooler… it’s running fine. No heat issues at all.
Funny thing is, why spend 35$ on a RAM Cooler when you can make one for 5$?
@chuckfender164 lower ur bus speed and increase ur multiplier for still have u oc ,u cant boot because u have a high nb frecuency and this ram oc increase that
I have patriot memory and corsair memory that can’t overclock….they are at 1333 instead of 1600 but they aren’t stable if you even mess with them
