Hey, so now I wang to put everything back together. The only probelm is that I disconnected 2 wires (one skinny width, and one with a big width). I believe the skinny width is for the mouse, but everytime I try to just pop it back in- it just falls right out? Any help?
is this disassemble similar to the dell inspiron 1545?
@cliffe6fig Removing the trim just north of the keyboard might be a little tricky for some. If it’s of any help, release the hinge covers with a small screwdriver first, then. pull the power button trim from the north side. It will take a tiny screwdriver to get it started but it should release easily.
Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)

If you know your motherboard manufacturer their website might have the drivers.
Or if your computer or laptop is a manufactured one like (Sony, Dell or HP) you should be able to find the appropriate drivers on their site too.
@zKinqyy
You’re welcome.
i tried uninstalling the usb drivers, rebooting, and when i searches for driver software i keeps saying installation failed for all! this is very annoying! and has (!) by each of them
@GodlessManitoban Its ok i figure it out but thanks for the help anyway
@zKinqyy
The easiest thing to try first would be to remove the battery and power cable. Then hold the power button on the laptop for 10 seconds. Then wait for about 10 minutes before replacing the battery and or power cable.
It isn’t all that convenient to open up a laptop and remove the motherboard battery.
And if you have a laptop?
@syyder
Yeah I have a small room and it’s only a poster. You see worse stuff on television.
why did you had to record your self at front of that fcuking billboard or whata hackisthat FUbeermanKC ??? you shouldn´t present beer boaards —-cause of children under 20 you….
But pardon me maybe you have too small rooom?
When I plug my Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket with a regular USB cable…I get USB Device Not Recognized. When I use my retractable USB cable, my phone is recognized, no issues at all. Has to be the cables that should work but they don’t. Plus I left the original USB cable that came with the phone at a hotel, it’s long gone but it worked. I can’t find a replacement cable for this phone that allows my phone to be recognized besides the retractable USB cable.
Anybody have any input on this???
@dejon71
Sounds like a cable issue.
I’d try to get an original from Samsung or find another retractable cable since they seem to work.

If you have USB ports on the back. You could just buy a USB extension cable and a hub of USB ports. Then plug the extension in the back and bring it to the front and plug the hub in.
@GodlessManitoban i got 4 ports all are in front and same thing happends in what ever port i plug,omg this is so anoying and i cant bealive that there are no solution for this.i think the only solutio to solve this is new motherboard
((
@crveniautic
Have you tried a different USB port?
I found out my USB ports in the front were bad. So I started using the ones in the back of my tower instead.
