ati radeon hd 5770 question by : i have a query about ATI radeon hd 5770′s hdmi connection ?
is there any require to connect a wire from motherboard to my ati 5770 graphics card to listen to audio more than hdmi connection ? or audio is built in the graphics card and there is no want for a audio connection from motherboard to my 5770 to hear the audio ?
also inform me does radeon 5770 can even transfer DTS-HD or DD Correct HD more than the HDMI by default ??

No you don’t need to have an additional cable, you just have to configure the desired gadget as the default device.
The Integrated HD audio controller supports:
- Output protected higher bit price 7.1 channel surround sound more than HDMI with no added cables needed
- AC-3, AAC, Dolby TrueHD and DTS Master Audio formats
