4 questions in reality, which motherboards are compatible with Intel Core 2 Extreme QX9650?? can i use triple channel memory cards with this processor (DDR3)?? and can i use large finish graphics with the motherboard,?? say GTX 495 or 465…and yeah, is there any laptop with that CPU?

Yes to all of your issues except I am not confident about tripple channel mode this mobo has 4 DDR3 RAM slots tho. I’m not sure but I think the i3, i5, and i7 Intels do the tripple channel mode.

Anyway have entertaining

awesome CPU,
overclocks really well , unclocked multiplier really helps a lot..boosted some more muscle power for my 8800GT SLI setup
gave it four star because of its price even when the nehalems came out.

|Excellent Overclocking Power,
With a heat tolerant X38 or 48 chipset motherboard from Asus or Gigabyte this CPU can be overclocked to nearly 4 GHz with the supplied fan, using no fancy cooling devices. Worth every penny. The standard (not Xtreme) processors will get flaky and hot well under that speed.
