I have the 2600k, there is really no speed variation, only that the K version is “unlocked” for overclocking ( if you want to future-proof your method or just get insane speed) . I would get the K edition since overclocking will aid gaming far more.
4) Nobody cares about the integrated video on a gaming system. That’s good, because the P67 chipset doesn’t support integrated video – you must have a separate video card.
The i7-2600K is simply the best gaming processor currently available for PCs. Overclocking past the 5 GHz mark has been reported.
However, the much less expensive i5-2500K is just as good in the practical sense, since you won’t be cpu limited on any screen resolution beyond 1680 x 1050. Who cares if the CPU benchmark with the i5 is “only” 120 fps – vs 140 for the i7? Very few games take full advantage of all 4 cores, none are significantly boosted by the Hyperthreaded i7 cores.
If you’ll also be using the PC for heave duty HD video editing or model rendering, get the i7-2600K. For gaming, get the i5-2500K and put the extra cash towards a better video card which will make a difference.
there almost the same but i would say Intel® Core™ i7-2600 Processor (8M Cache, 3.40 GHz) because it has Intel® Virtualization Technology for Directed I/O (VT-d) and Intel® Trusted Execution Technology and a little tip GET MORE RAM(: just trying to help
cant play games only with processor and without graphics accelerator. processor dosn’t matters video card is used for gamng
