overclocking cpu laptop Video Rating: 4 / five
I’d highly suggest not doing it. OCing is already dangerous in desktops. Doing it in a laptop is more dangerous because of heating problems. OCing = more heat. Laptops are specifically designed to remove just enough heat that is generated by it’s specific parts. So OCing can potentially burn up your computer.
If you’ve never OCed before, I’d definitely not do it. OCing is like driving. When you first start, you suck at it no matter who you are. Only with experience you get better. Screw around with a desktop first where you have more room for error and can fix you’re mistakes easily. A screw up in a desktop usually means a new CPU, a screw up in a laptop means the entire laptop dies.
