I heard that 1066 will restrict my capacity to overclock. How is that?

You should not overclock unless you know what you are performing.
If you don’t know about RAM I suggest you do a LOT of studying before you ruin your laptop or computer.

1066 is the clock speed the RAM is designed to run at.
Ok if you dont know what it means i would say dont overclock at all. ddr3 1066mhz is the speed that it was designed to run at. Overclocking it could make your pc unstable if set to high. i overclocked mine to 1333mhz and no more cause it was locking up. I never seen a huge gain it performance any way, so dont worry about it.
